That’s been a busy day!
Almost 1,000 people visited the Ness of Brodgar excavation to see the archaeologists in action and take part in activities across the site.
Equally busy were the displays in the Stenness school and our exhibition in the Maeshowe visitor centre.
Our thanks go to all who contributed their time and efforts to make the Open Day such a success – at all three venues – and to the many hundred of visitors who dropped by.
Regular diary service will resume tomorrow, but in the meantime here’s just a few images from today from Jo and Sigurd.
