2024 sees us reach a major milestone in the history of the Ness excavation – the final season of fieldwork.
To mark the occasion (and help raise much-needed funds for the post-excavation phase of the project) we have decided to produce a limited-edition, commemorative t-shirt.
Made from heavy cotton, the t-shirts come in three colours – black, navy and dark green – and are printed on front and back.
The inspiration for the front was the glorious Neolithic art incised on the huge decorated stone deposited under one of Structure Ten’s internal buttresses. The back panel outlines some key moments in the discovery of the site and its 20-year excavation history.
The t-shirts are a limited edition, produced in separate batches over the next few months. Initially only available online, they will also be stocked in the site shop over the dig season.
