Ness team joining celebrations for Archaeology Institute anniversary

The Ness team will be among those celebrating the tenth anniversary of the UHI Archaeology Institute at a special event in Kirkwall next month.

The event is open to the public and runs from 4pm until 7.30pm on Friday, November 14, at UHI Orkney, East Road, Kirkwall. It will reflect on the institute’s development into a centre of discovery, education and excellence, and showcase its research and work within the commercial archaeology section.

Although all are welcome, the organisers are asking those interested in attending to register for a free place here so they have an idea of numbers.
