In association with Orkney Tweed, Skein Reaction and Anne Lea, the Brodgar cowl knitting pattern is now available as a downloadable PDF file.
Like the Tam o’ Brodgar hat and Brodgar mitts, the inspiration for the pattern is the decoration on pottery and incised stones from the Ness. The colours of Orkney Tweed’s wool are those of the stone and pottery of Neolithic Orkney.
Proceeds from the sale of the pattern go directly to Ness of Brodgar project funds.
