Exhibition of Ness paintings gets archaeology festival off to an early start
Artwork created over the past six years at the Ness of Brodgar excavation is on display in St Margaret’s Hope until September 27.
The exhibition, Last Paintings at the Ness: 5000 years a little at a time, by Jeanne Rose, one of our artists in residence, is part of the inaugural Orkney Archaeology Festival, which begins on September 10.
Jeanne’s work can be viewed at the Loft Gallery, St Margaret’s Hope, South Ronaldsay.
