Description
- A lovely bowl turned from some locally found driftwood. The wood was very wet when Michael turned the piece so it has gone delightfully wonky during the natural drying process.
- The bowl is inspired by the Neolithic Grooved ware pottery. Hand-carved detail around the top between a rolled rim and a turned bead.
- The bottom has been decorated with hand-carved detail often found on the Grooved Ware pottery and coloured using haematite.
- A very special piece.
- Finished with several coats of oil and buffed.
