Call for volunteers to help provide a warm Ness welcome…
Would you like to help greet the visitors to the Ness of Brodgar excavation site this summer?
In 2017, around 21,500 visitors made their way to the Ness, where a team of international diggers were hard at work on the Neolithic complex.
An important part of the experience is the team who meet and greet these visitors, letting them know when tours are, where to go on-site, how to help support the dig and, above all, make sure all visitors receive a welcome.
This year, the site is open to the public from July 4, until August 22, with open days on July 15 and August 19.
