Places available for young archaeologists

There are still a few spaces left for youngsters interested in taking part in this summer’s excavation at the Ness.

Archaeology workshops, run by the World Heritage Site (WHS) Ranger Service, have taken place on site since 2010 and are open to young people aged between 12-16 years.

There are still some spaces available on the July 24 and 31 workshops, which run from 9.30am until 12.30pm.

Booking is essential, so contact the Rangers on (01856) 841732 or email orkneyrangers@hes.scot.
